Nutricia Research Centre for Specialized Nutrition, located in the Utrecht Science Park in the Netherlands, is a cutting-edge Life Science innovation hub focusing on developing new product concepts for Specialized Nutrition. They create formulas that offer proven health benefits to vulnerable consumers such as infants, toddlers, elderly individuals, and patients.
We are on the lookout for a Senior UX Data Manager to join the User Experience team and drive digital advancements in sensory and consumer data. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone looking to be part of a vibrant community within Danone Nutricia Research in Utrecht. The User Experience department at Danone focuses on amplifying the user's voice to inspire and co-create exceptional food experiences that resonate with people. The team collaborates closely with scientists and agencies to maintain Danone's competitive edge.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Inspiring innovation projects through insights gained from sensory and consumer data to drive significant business advantages.
- Conducting statistical analysis of sensory and consumer data to uncover insights and develop prediction models in partnership with external collaborators.
- Ensuring data analyses align with the data strategy, overseeing data collection, database management, data quality, and governance.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and core competencies in R&I. As a result, we are seeking individuals with experience in sensory and consumer design research, a passion for integrating the consumer perspective into business decisions, and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
About Your Profile
- Master's degree or equivalent in disciplines such as Food Science, Sensory/Sensometrics, Data Science, or Statistics with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
- Deep knowledge and practical experience in various sensory and consumer research methodologies, especially quantitative studies.
- Advanced proficiency in basic and multivariate statistics for analyzing sensory and consumer data.
- Hands-on experience with statistical tools like SAS, EyeQuestion, and Compusense.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly R or Python.
- Skilled in using visualization tools like PowerBi and Shiny.
- Inquisitive mindset for problem-solving using data science modeling and staying current with the latest methodological advancements.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences and deliver data-driven presentations effectively.
- Fluency in English, with international experience considered a plus.
- Driven by a sense of purpose to contribute to Danone's mission of promoting health and well-being.
