Do you like to play a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of the Group Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives? To align with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) regulations and guidelines Royal Reesink is looking for an:

ESG Manager (40 hours per week | location: Apeldoorn)

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution our organisation's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) plans, policies and initiatives. You will ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and oversee the reporting of non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Your main responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of our ESG strategy, including navigating regulatory requirements, designing reporting, creating transformation roadmaps, and coordinating Double Materiality Assessments for RR. Drive collaboration with OpCo's and internal stakeholders to champion sustainability initiatives in alignment with the ESG strategy, fostering a culture of environmental awareness. Lead the alignment of ESG reporting processes with CSRD requirements, collaborating closely with finance and accounting teams. Drive the reporting of non-financial KPIs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with legal standards and regulatory requirements. Monitors emerging ESG trends and regulations and adapts the organization's ESG strategy. The ESG Manager reports to the VP Finance & Control.

About you
It's important that you have a proven track record of working with key stakeholders to foster collaboration, gain buy-in and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Additionally we hope you tick the following boxes:

Bachelor's/Master's degree; At least 6 -7 years of corporate experience; Experience in and/or responsible for financial or non-financial management reporting; Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide leadership in driving ESG initiatives; Efficient in the use of word, PowerPoint, excel; Strong analytical, training and communication skills; Fluency in the Dutch and English language.
