**Wat ga je doen?**:
Als Manager European Affairs ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de EU-strategie vanuit het NLR. Je voert de NLR-lobby aan voor Europese kaderprogramma's en voor nationale en regionale subsidieregelingen. Zorgt daarnaast voor een goede strategische positionering van het NLR en de Nederlandse luchtvaartcluster.

Je vergaart en analyseert de benodigde marketingintel. Agendeert topics voor komende programma's. Initieert samenwerking met Nederlandse en Europese partijen. Je bent graag op de hoogte van de technologische ontwikkelingen bij strategische partners op Europees niveau en vertaalt ontwikkelingen naar belangen en kansen voor het NLR.

Als Manager European Affairs vertegenwoordig je het NLR in diverse nationale en Europese gremia. Je beheert het netwerk van Europese kennisinstellingen en bouwt samenwerking met Erea-leden uit. Deze samenwerkingen in gesubsidieerde programma's weet je door te vertalen naar industriële producten en opdrachten.

**Wat breng je mee?**:

- Een academisch werk -en denkniveau, bij voorkeur in de richting van politicologie of bestuurskunde;
- Je hebt een succesvol trackrecord als lobbyist bij Europese Commissie
- Je bent in het bezit van een aansprekend (inter-)nationaal netwerk;
Je hebt bij ons een streepje voor als je als beschikt over kennis van de lucht
- en ruimtevaartsector. Heb je dit nog niet, maar wel grote interesse, dan valt er hier veel te zien en te leren. Verder heb je inzicht in politiek bestuurlijke verhoudingen en invloedslijnen en vertaalt dit moeiteloos naar een eigen wijze van handelen. Je bent alert op kansen in de markt. Je durft anders te denken, bent pragmatisch, pro-actief en hebt een goed gevoel voor organisatiesensitiviteit. Je voelt je thuis in een teamcultuur die zich kenmerkt door: Informeel, resultaatgericht en betrokken.

Van nature beschik je over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden (in zowel Nederlands als Engels) en ben je een gesprekspartner op alle niveaus.

Zes collega marketing managers met focus op positionering, relatiemanagement en vertaling van de markt naar zakelijke mogelijkheden. Werkzaam op corporate niveau. Nauwe samenwerking met businessmanagers, EU projectleiders en afdelingsmanagers van de drie divisies.
