As a DevSecOps Engineer, your role involves leveraging your technical expertise in cloud computing, platform management, automation, and scripting to connect the Netherlands with global networks. The specifics of this connection are left to your initiative. At Schiphol Group, we believe in empowering you to translate your skills into impactful outcomes to fulfill the following objectives:

  • Play a crucial role in designing and maintaining our network and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate tasks, troubleshoot issues, and offer assistance as required.
  • Optimize our technological stack while embodying our corporate values of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with different central data teams to develop products and services that bring our Schiphol Data and AI strategy to fruition.

In this role, you are expected to take ownership, make decisions, and demonstrate accountability. You serve as a valuable sounding board for the business. Furthermore, you should possess:

  • At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly (proficiency in Dutch is advantageous).
  • Expertise in cloud computing, with proficiency in Azure, Databricks, and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in Connection and File Services such as Webservices, APIs, ftp, and MFT.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals like TCP/IP, DNS, and an automation mindset with experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines.
