We are seeking a dynamic and experienced accounting and reporting manager will work closely with Head of Finance and senior management to provide financial analysis and support decision-making processes, manage the external and internal team of accounting and reporting professionals.

The Manager will also be responsible for ensuring accounting control over acquired legal entities in different regions in various jurisdictions and controlling the preparation of individual reporting for these entities.


Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the daily accounting and reporting functions for DTEK Renewables International B.V. ("Parent") and its subsidiaries (Romania, Italy and Croatia) This includes preparing (for Parent) and reviewing (subsidiaries) financial statements, leading the monthend close process and overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Controlling the accounting and preparation of individual reporting of legal entities in different regions in various jurisdictions
  • The manager will ensure all financial reporting is in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS standards and coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process
  • The manager will also be responsible for building, evaluating and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the accounting and reporting processes
- ensuring effective accounting control of the results of financial Due Diligence in the development of investment projects

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 710 years of experience in accounting and reporting
  • Completed or in progress ACCA will be a benefit
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decisionmaking
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements
  • A strong knowledge of local GAAP (Dutch) and IFRS standards, previous experience in the renewables industry, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar) are required
