Position: Senior Procurement Consultant

Location: Netherlands, Remote

Employment: Freelance/Contract

Duration: 6+ Months

Start Date: ASAP

Our client is a leader in the online services industry, facilitating a wide array of services across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex, large-scope projects that significantly impact organizational strategy.
  • Handle global and multiregional contracts, overseeing all types of contracts and category management.
  • Participate in project governance, including Steering Committees or Project Boards, and manage commercial processes.
  • Negotiate contracts independently following strategies approved by senior management and executive stakeholders.
  • Secure pre-approval from the Senior Manager and executive officers (CEO, CFO, or CLO) for negotiation outcomes.
  • Source products and services independently, overseeing the supplier selection process.
  • Lead supplier performance management in coordination with internal business partners.
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives and ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and sustainability guidelines.
  • Conduct spend data analysis, generate KPIs, and provide insights into cost reductions and performance enhancements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for vendor and procurement issues.
  • Develop and maintain best procurement practices and ensure operational compliance.
  • Occasionally function as a backup for the Procurement Manager.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5-10 years of direct experience with Ivalua, including solution configuration and SQL.
  • L3 Ivalua certification in S2C, P2P, and integration (API, ETL).
  • Experience in at least two full cycles of Ivalua implementation.
  • Advanced knowledge in sourcing, contracting, SRM, purchasing, and invoicing.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, agile environment.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office, with an advanced level in Excel.
  • Experience in tendering and contracting, particularly in services, is preferred.
