Food Safety & Quality

Start date: August/September 2024

Duration: 5 to 6 months

Location: Nijmegen

Basic Requirements:

You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement but other languages are a plus) You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship. NOTE: EU working rights are required

FSQ Intern (Food Safety and Quality Intern)

You will be supporting the European Food Safety and Quality department for external factories and suppliers while developing to your fullest potential within this internship.

Assignments and key activities:

Support project coordination, communication and documentation activities within:Food Safety and Quality Risk Mitigation Projects Food Safety and Quality Process Improvement for Suppliers and External Factories Identify, track, report, and support in updating and communicating information related to key performance indicators (KPI's). Analyzing Information and supporting the external manufacturing management team

Some specific activities that will be the responsibility of the FSQ intern:

Complaint management Performing root-cause analyses Product specification writing Performing supportive tasks related to external manufacturer audits and quality improvement meetings

Specific Team Requirements:

Food Quality Management/ Food Technology/Food Safety Bachelors/Masters student HACCP, food operational knowledge and risk management are crucial Product development experience is a plus You are precise with data, analytical and result driven.
