Our customer is a company working in the Mining sector close to Moerdijk. They are the top provider of top-notch steel in global markets such as automotive, construction, household appliances, and packaging.

Role:
As the Technical Procurement Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

- Working with internal teams to establish technical requirements for products and services
- Identifying suitable vendors meeting technical specifications
- Creating and executing a technical procurement policy setting standards, processes, and approval workflows for acquiring technical goods
- Analyzing procurement data to measure cost savings from strategic sourcing and negotiations
- Building and supervising a technical procurement department, implementing processes, workflows, and training programs for a high-performing team

Profile:
For this position, as Technical Procurement Manager a.i., following qualifications are required:

- Available immediately
- Extensive experience in procurement management roles
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Previous experience managing a procurement department as an interim professional
- Familiarity with the client's industry
- Proficiency in Dutch and English; knowledge of German is a bonus

Offer:

- Starting date: 1st of June
- Full-time position
- Initial 6-month contract with a possibility of extension
