  • Boeing Netherlands BV is looking for_
    _ Aerospace Sheet Metal Technician __to join the team at the LCW location (Logistic Center Woensdrecht, Hoogerheide at_ the Royal Netherlands Airforce) for the Boeing maintenance services contract. _
  • Boeing Maintenance Services is a MAR145 accredited organization to provide Flexible Capacity to support the LCW in the phase maintenance inspections of Apache and Chinook helicopters._

_ Responsibilities:
_
- _Rework, install and fabricate complex aircraft structural assemblies_
- _ Use of precision measuring devices. i.e.; micrometre, ball gauges, dial callipers, scales and all other calibrated devices using safety guidelines_
- _ Preform visual and functional inspection of operations to ensure product meets all requirements and specifications_
- _ Performs aircraft corrosion inspections and structural repair tasks in line with the aircraft repair data provided_
- _ Maintains, modifies and installs the various components of aircraft sheet metal and composite_
- _ Ensure relevant repair documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner_
- _ Promote a Just Culture, adhere to company Health & Safety policies, and report all incidents and occurrences through the Company Safety Management System_
- _ Provide detailed documentation of the work carried out on aircraft_
- _ Ensure all calibrated equipment and tooling is correctly stored, calibrated, labelled and recorded_

_ Job Skills & Qualifications:
_

_ Basic qualifications:
_
- _ Has the ability to fabricates, assembles, modifies, and repairs the metal parts of an aircraft;_
- _ Has the ability to lay out plans based on the engineer's blueprints, then assemble and install components to the aircraft;_
- _ Basic knowledge of EASA and HSE (ARBO) legislation;_
- _ Basic IT knowledge and preferably basic SAP user;_
- _ Ability to work under own initiative making recommendations for improvements as appropriate;_
- _ Have the right to work in Europe without restriction;_
- _ Ability to obtain Security investigation (level B) from the Military Intelligence and Security Service (MIVD) Netherlands BIV_
- _ Be highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail._
- _ Fluent knowledge of English and Dutch is required for this position._

_ Preferred qualifications:
_
- _ Experience on composite repairs is a plus._
- _ Experience in the inspections, and repairs on the AH-64 and / CH-47 Type ACFT is a plus._
- _ Experience in a military environment is a plus_

_ Education and Experience:
_
Relevant working experience.

Requirements include 5 years related work experience with completion of a Civil Aviation Apprenticeship, Armed Forces Aircraft training or Basic Engineering Apprenticeship.
