Are you curious to discover the daily challenges of a buyer in a large company? Do you aspire to immerse yourself in one of the key resources of Danone in an international and diverse setting? Join us as our next Procurement Intern at our Hoofddorp, NL office, starting July 2024.

You will play a vital role in Danone's Global Procurement team, assisting senior buyers in the Fruit Preparations category.

We offer you the chance to delve into a crucial Danone resource, engage in a multicultural environment, and actively contribute to sourcing strategies.

You will have hands-on involvement in business processes, supplier performance assessments, contract tracking, and productivity optimization projects.


Your responsibilities:
  • Project Management
  • Lead multiple projects across the EU (e.g., Productivity enhancements)
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the Fruit Prep business
  • Operational Support
  • Manage EU projects involving stakeholders such as Quality, R&I, and Procurement
  • Act as an interface between various stakeholders providing facilitation, project management, and prioritization
  • Strategy
  • Support the implementation of the European strategy and tender, collaborating with all relevant countries/teams
  • Raise awareness and motivate stakeholders
  • Data Analytics & Visualization
  • Assist in developing new tools and dashboards
  • Market Intelligence
  • Help buyers understand Danone's business needs

Requirements:
  • Enrolled as a student throughout the internship (non-EU citizens must be enrolled at a Dutch university)
  • Available to start in July 2024 for a minimum of 6 months, full-time
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and thrive in a dynamic, challenging environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural setting

We Offer:

  • Gross monthly internship allowance of 650 euros
  • Home working allowance or travel contribution
  • No relocation or accommodation benefits for international students
