Joining Jenaplanschool Wittevrouwen

The Jenaplanschool Wittevrouwen is a large primary school with two locations in the Wittevrouwen district. It's not just a Jenaplan school, it's also a neighborhood school. Our school stands out for its relaxed and pleasant atmosphere among children, parents, and team members. Children love coming to school. We have a big team (around 60 people) that is diverse in ages, and women and men. Humor, sociability, flexibility, and team spirit are important to us. Support staff is a full part of our team and participates in all staff activities.
The school has 26 classes spread over two locations. We operate in two different buildings: a relatively modern one with all necessary amenities on Oude Kerkstraat, and a completely renovated classic school building with good facilities on Poortstraat. Our Jenaplan concept offers a wide range of development areas including not only cognitive subjects like math and language but also a focus on creativity and sports. 'Dialogue' (communication), 'Play' (artistic formation and sports), 'Work' (all cognitive subjects but also learning to collaborate, plan, be independent, etc.), and 'Celebration' (weekly openings, closures, celebrations with parents, etc.) are our core activities.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who identifies with the following description:

- Experience or **passion** for the **Jenaplan concept**

- Prefers working with the early childhood **education** ('bouw') (groups 1/2)

- Seeking a position for two **days** (FTE 0.4)

- Possesses humor, ability to put things into perspective, flexibility, and creativity

- Eager to learn and reflective
