Onder de werktitel Innovation Capital Rotterdam versterken bedrijven, kennisinstellingen en overheden samen het innovatieve ecosysteem van de haven en daarmee het vestigingsklimaat. Doordat in de haven al die verschillende grote transities samenkomen, zijn we in staat vanuit innovatie perspectief verbanden te leggen De afdeling Innovatie fungeert als 'verbinder' en 'accelerator'. Onze afdelingsdoelstelling is het vergroten van de impact van innovatieve projecten en daarmee het ontwikkelen van het meest innovatieve innovatie-ecosysteem. Wij dragen actief bij aan business development en duurzame groei, waardoor we onze koploperspositie behouden.

Met elkaar 'jagen' wij innovatie in de haven aan en leggen verbindingen tussen branches, transities en ontwikkelingen. Dit doen we door het stimuleren, opstarten en uitvoeren van innovatieprojecten, pilots en proof-of-concepts binnen HbR en het Haven Industrieel Complex (HIC). Een omgeving met een rijke historie, maar ook een status quo die uitgedaagd mag worden.

Ons team bestaat uit meer dan 10 collega's die actief de voortgang en impact van innovatieprojecten managen en het ecosysteem verbinden. Daarnaast ondersteunen doorlopend 1-2 stagiaires ons bij het scouten naar innovaties en relevante marktontwikkelingen.

Onze afdeling heeft zowel een interne als een externe focus. Samenwerken, beïnvloeden, draagvlak creëren en stakeholdermanagement zijn daarom ontzettend belangrijk.

Wat vragen wij van jou?

Je hebt 3-5 jaar relevante werkervaring in innoveren, bij voorkeur met het begeleiden en tot wasdom brengen van innovatieprojecten en/of interne ventures. Je hebt een wo-diploma, bij voorkeur in de richting van bedrijfskunde en/of innovatie. Gedegen kennis van werkwijzen/methodes op het gebied van innovatie, zoals bijvoorbeeld design thinking en/of corporate startup innovatie. Je volgt trends en bent uit jezelf actief op zoek naar nieuwe ontwikkelingen en innovaties. Het is een pre als je workshops hebt gefaciliteerd en/of programma's,'proof of concepts' en pilots hebt begeleid. Affiniteit met ontwikkelingen in de haven-gerelateerde sectoren (logistiek, energie, maritiem, chemie).

De competenties die wij belangrijk vinden om succesvol te zijn in de functie:

Klantgerichtheid : Je beheert en benut samenwerkingen actief. Je onderhoudt contact met stakeholders om hun behoeften en verwachtingen te begrijpen en hierop in te spelen. Dit doe je mondeling en schriftelijk in de Nederlandse en Engelse taal. Beïnvloeden : Je kan anderen overtuigen, stimuleren en motiveren om bepaalde doelen te bereiken. Hiermee creëer je draagvlak en het managen van stakeholders voor het succes van innovatieprojecten. Resultaatgerichtheid : Je bent resultaatgericht door doelen te stellen, aannames te valideren en inzichten om te zetten in concrete resultaten. Hiermee heb je een focus op de uitkomsten en impact van het werk. Probleemoplossend vermogen : Je kan problemen identificeren, analyseren en effectieve oplossingen bedenken en implementeren. Hiermee kan je activiteiten verbeteren en uitdagingen effectief aanpakken. Samenwerken : Je werkt samen met je eigen team en externe stakeholders om gezamenlijk draagvlak te creëren en relaties te onderhouden om gemeenschappelijke doelen te bereiken.
