We are looking for a Development Engineer to join the team at our Zoetermeer office. As a Development Engineer at Seaway7, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of new operational methods and equipment in our daily offshore operations.
What you will be doing :
You will analyse and prepare project specifications for the development of new operational methods and tools to support tenders and business development. Develop equipment to support our windfarm installation projects and vessels. Prepare plans and procedures for the use, installation and inspection of equipment and discuss these procedures with the project teams and (offshore) personnel responsible for the execution. During implementation support the crew when using this new equipment on board the vessels Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, crew, clients, and certification authorities. Assure all relevant safety standards and legal requirements are implemented. You will be supported to consolidate your engineering knowledge, including working knowledge of design codes and standards, legislative requirements, and current best engineering practice. Recognise the requirements for professional development and work to achieve development goals.What will you bring to the team:

Our development engineers typically have a relevant Engineering degree (MSc or BSc) in Mechanical, Naval, Electrical, Aerospace or Civil engineering.
They are also expected to exhibit some of the following qualities and skills:
Professional and curious attitude Strong analytical skills and technical ability Flexible and progressive approach to designs, changes and developments Ability to communicate with impact.
