If you are enthusiastic about joining a dynamic international team and thrive in a collaborative environment, you might be the perfect fit for our Global Supply Chain team as a Customs Expert with a 1-year Fixed Term contract.

• Ensure compliance with customs regulations for inbound and outbound shipments, managing all customs-related matters.
• Maintain and update customs-related fields in SAP and SAP GTS, owning the integrity of these fields.
• Coordinate inbound transportation effectively, working closely with teams across various locations.
• Handle export documentation for European sites and coordinate transportation for interplant movements.
• Optimize inbound lead times, transportation costs, and maintain open communication with customs authorities.

Requirements:

• 3 to 8 years of experience in international trade and logistics.
• Experience in import and export declarations for Belgian and/or German customs.
• Certification to file import/export declarations in Belgium and/or Germany.
• Understanding of risks associated with import and export transactions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
