  • Trouw Nutrition: Specializing in animal nutrition to enhance livestock health and productivity through advanced solutions.

We are in search of an experienced Operational Procurement Specialist for our office in Amersfoort. The role involves managing operational issues accurately and promptly, either independently or by delegating to internal departments or external partners.

As the Operational Procurement Specialist, you will support the Feed Additives & Animal Health Products Category Team and the Nutreco Procurement department in various operational aspects.

You will serve as the bridge between the global and local entities, overseeing operational processes, and aiding the Category Manager Feed Additives & Animal Health Products and Global Lead buyers.

Regular communication with procurement, formulation, and production team managers at local sites will be essential, assisting the customer service team with orders, invoicing, and administrative tasks.

Having financial expertise is crucial as you will focus on rebates and their financial management for all categories.


About The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Finding solutions for various challenges related to forecasting, contracts, quality, suppliers, and supplies
  • Supporting global category manager and lead buyers by collecting and analyzing data, creating sourcing plans, and preparing presentations on category performance
  • Active participation in Op Co S&OP process, particularly for the Feed Additive supply points Selko NL and Selko USA
  • Monitoring, verifying, and managing data on agreed rebates with suppliers across all categories

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

  • HBO or bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement, finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in an international setting
  • Proven expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in English, with strong communication and team-oriented skills
  • Flexible, able to collaborate with various teams and perform under pressure
