The Role

If you're a enthusiastic HBO or WO student with a modern and creative approach to communication, proficient in Adobe programs, and skilled in video editing, we want you to support the internal communication department at HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply. As an intern in the internal communication department, you will gain hands-on experience by working on various internal communication tasks and projects, including:

- Designing communication materials;
- Graphic design;
- Leading video projects from start to finish;
- Contributing to internal news within the breweries.

This role encourages you not only to participate but also to actively engage and share your thoughts. You will gain insight into various aspects of communication in an operational setting, where initiative is valued. Collaboration and independent work on projects are equally important.

The Team

As a communication and video intern at HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply, you will be based at the Brewery in Zoeterwoude or 's-Hertogenbosch (based on preference). You may also work remotely.

HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply, which includes our three breweries in Zoeterwoude, 's-Hertogenbosch, and Wijlre, not only produces beers for the Netherlands but also exports worldwide. Working at the Brewery, you'll gain valuable insights into the beer-making process and its journey to stores and bars.

Requirements

- Takes initiative and is highly independent;
- Near graduation from a degree in Communication / Graphic Design or similar;
- Experience in recording and editing videos is a plus;
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) is advantageous;
- Creativity with strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Interest in traditional and new media;
- Ability to develop communication strategies;
- Skilled in building internal networks.

HEINEKEN Offers

- Start date: September 1, 2024
- Full-time internship (4 days a week is negotiable)
- Duration: 5 or 6 months (to be discussed with your supervisor)
- Currently enrolled in an educational institution
- Hands-on experience
- Guidance from a dedicated mentor
- Based in Zoeterwoude and/or 's-Hertogenbosch
- Internship allowance of €500 (HBO/WO)
- 2 vacation days per month (full-time basis)
- Travel expenses covered if you do not have an ov-studentenproduct.
