Are you a professional with a passion for driving excellence in Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS)? Join DP World as a QEHS Engineer and take the charge in creating a culture of operational excellence and sustainability.

In this position you'll be responsible for all Quality, Environment, Health and Safety matters, you will be the specialist of the Waalwijk 2 site for all QESH-related matters. Based on your knowledge, experience and persuasiveness, you advise the management team regarding QEHS related matters.

Representatives of other departments will consider you as the point of contact for all Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety matters, you will liaise with the other departments to ensure a smooth exchange of information and to help maintain and improve DP World's overall performance.

In this challenging role you will be given opportunities, possibilities and the responsibility to use your knowledge and experience to take the QESH department to a higher level. We offer you the opportunity to further develop yourself by attending training and/or courses.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

Responsible for maintaining the Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Document Management System (DMS) system for the site Developing quality inspection procedures, methods and sampling plans based on performance metrics and/or customer requirements & specifications Advising the management and other relevant stakeholder and the customer(s) regarding keeping internal procedures up to date with attention to changed laws and regulations, customer wishes and internal improvement processes Responsible for the Internal audit planning, risk assessment and guiding external audits like ISO9001 and ISO14001 Manage, coordinate & drive corrective and preventive action programs for the site Identify and report any potential and/or existing quality issues Manage the QEHS walks, the outcomes and follow up on improvement actions Drive the operational EHS topics and QEHS awareness in the organization.

Work experience, qualities and skill requirements:

HBO Degree in Quality or related field with additional qualifications in Safety Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar role Solid experience with ISO9001 and preferable ISO14001 Good communication and relationship building skills in English (spoken, reading and writing) Experience with BHV and experience as a Lead BHV (or willing to become lead BHV) will be a plus Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks. Good problem solver Flexible attitude
