As an E-Health process and application specialist, you are responsible for the development of innovative portals and apps that directly improve healthcare. A great, challenging job for 32-36 hours per week at our Utrecht location.

Your responsibilities:

Working as a process and application specialist for our E-health/MyChart team, you, along with your colleagues, focus on setting up everything related to portal functionalities. For example, the My Antonius patient portal, mobile applications for both patients and doctors, and the portal for external referrers. You collaborate with various disciplines to further develop and expand portal functionalities. You translate your knowledge of healthcare (administrative) processes into the setup of our portals and apps. You are at the intersection of healthcare and IT, acting as the link between end-users, your colleague EPD application specialists, and the systems, where success depends on good communication.

The department:
The Information Management & ICT unit is responsible for providing high-quality information services based on availability, reliability, accessibility, and security. Within this unit, the EPD Management and Development department is in charge of the functional management of our EPD, Epic's hospital-wide patient record. Collaboration takes place with various EPD application teams, users, and colleagues from the technical management and integration department, aiming for optimal use and integration of the EPD and related systems, both for internal and external hospital clients.

Your talents:

You excel at setting priorities, you are a determined problem-solver with a vision for the development of (patient) portals and E-health. You are a connector who sees opportunities within processes and the systems used within the hospital. Most importantly, you enjoy actively engaging in this work. Additionally, you are analytical, proactive, and have strong communication skills. Your social skills are excellent, and besides Dutch, you have a good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing. Moreover, you have:

  • A completed academic or higher vocational education, or equivalent work and thinking level;
  • Experience and certification as an Epic application specialist is a big advantage, although MyChart certification is not mandatory;
  • Basic knowledge of information systems.
What we offer:
  • A gross monthly salary that can amount up to €4540 based on a full-time position of 36 hours per week (Hospitals Collective Labour Agreement, Scale 50);
  • Epic certification will be facilitated by the employer (including study costs, time, and if necessary, travel and accommodation costs);
  • A 13th-month pay, a pension scheme, and an hour budget that can be used for parental leave or extra holidays, for example;
