  • Your contribution will lead us to achieve a European top performance at one of the largest European airports and continuously improve operations.
  • You will be based at the Airport Operations Center (APOC). APOC was established in 2019 as the central location at Schiphol Airport, where various chain parties come together to prepare and manage daily operations.

Connecting your world

As a business analyst, you will support and enhance the airport process through your operational insights and data-driven analyses. Your role is pivotal in assisting operations and the Management Team in making informed decisions based on the right steering information. How you achieve results is up to you. We rely on your ability to distinguish between essentials and details and draw correlations. You will utilize your skills by:

  • Conducting daily analysis of achieved performance to learn and continuously improve.
  • Performing trend analyses to map out broader performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Taking proactive measures in case of deviations to ensure, safeguard, and strengthen operational continuity.
  • Collaborating with the APOC Supervisor and representatives of chain parties, providing them with the latest information and insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Engaging stakeholders and offering them comprehensive perspectives to align their internal processes and decision-making accordingly.
  • Acting as the Business Owner for capacity-related dashboards, consistently translating business needs into actionable insights for developers.
  • Preparing for and participating in various performance and flow meetings.

  • A completed university degree.
  • At least 2 years of recent work experience in a similar role, involving the analysis of complex (logistic) processes.
  • Demonstrable experience in business/data analyses, performance management, and translating these analyses into priorities and concrete recommendations/actions within operational processes.
  • Conceptual thinking ability. You have a holistic view of processes and the organization, ensuring continuous improvement and change.
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Additional Information: This is a day shift role with 1-2 early/late shifts per week, possibly on weekends. Early shift timing: xx AM; Late shift timing: xx PM You get this
  • Salary range: €4,401 to €6,128 gross per month (Scale 11).

About the Team

From the moment a passenger leaves home until the airplane takes off, we ensure a pleasant and safe departure for all travelers. In close collaboration with you, around 1000 other colleagues, 140 airlines, and various handlers, we streamline processes from A to Z. For example, we ensure there is a colleague ready to assist passengers with reduced mobility from the parking lot to the gate, and that an adequate number of baggage belts are available, even during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance and delays. Every day, we work together to maintain a robust department with a responsible and reliable airport process.
