Our client is a leading multinational technology company headquartered in Amsterdam, operating within the industry.

In response to evolving global tax regulations and the expansion of their product offerings, they seek a skilled Tax Manager to join their team on a temporary basis for a 12-month assignment.


As they navigate through the complexities of VAT/GST compliance and system implementations, they require a seasoned professional with expertise in tax law, particularly in indirect taxation, and experience working within a big 4 or international environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across various teams.

Functie

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting system-related projects, including SAP implementation and other platforms, to ensure compliance with VAT/GST regulations.
  • Staying updated on global tax developments and ensuring adherence to local tax rules and regulations.
  • Defining tax requirements for system implementation, particularly focusing on VAT compliance and data reporting purposes.
  • Providing support with the impact of system implementations on tax accounting and reporting processes.
  • Assisting with Masterdata redesign for tax purposes and CESOP implementation to ensure accurate translation and implementation of tax requirements.
Profiel

  • Immediate availability preferred.
  • Able to commit to a 12month temporary assignment.
  • Experience with system implementation, particularly in SAP S4/Hana.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Experience with systems such as VIM, Blackline, Concur.

  • Start Date: Immediate start upon selection.
  • Hours: Fulltime position.
  • Length of Assignment: 12 months (with possible extension based on business needs).
  • Location: Onsite in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
