**Introductie**:
Een van onze opdrachtgevers, semi-publieke instelling, heeft DutchDare International gevraagd de werving & selectie te doen van een Financial Auditor. De gevraagde inzet is fulltime.

**Organisatie en Afdelingsomschrijving**:
De afdeling Middelen & Control (M&C) bestaat uit circa 45 medewerkers verdeeld over vijf teams, namelijk: Beleid & Kwaliteit, Business Control, Financieel Control, Financien en Inkoop. Jij komt te werken in het team Beleid en Kwaliteit. Dit diverse team bestaat uit 8 collega's met verschillende achtergronden, talenten en persoonlijkheden die betrokken en gedreven zijn in hun vakgebieden.

De afdeling M&C is een relatief jonge afdeling die is ontstaan om de ambitieuze visie voor de komende jaren verder te ontwikkelen. Gericht op het verder ontwikkelen van onze identiteit als een proactieve, bevlogen club die samen en eigenaarschap hoog in het vaandel heeft staan.

**Functie-informatie**:
Als Financieel auditor ben je de spil in het waarborgen van financiële integriteit en risicobeheersing binnen de organisatie. Je stelt normen
- en controlekaders op, vertaalt landelijk beleid naar de organisatie, stelt het interne controleplan op en coördineert de periodieke aanbesteding van de accountant. Daarnaast heb je een regierol over het gehele controle traject, ben je verantwoordelijk voor de rechtmatigheidsverantwoording en rapporteer je de bevindingen met verbetervoorstellen periodiek aan de concerncontroller. Via het 'Three Lines of Defence Model' ben je verantwoordelijk voor de verbijzonderde interne controle (VIC) en de rechtmatigheidsverantwoording, waarmee je een stevige en betrouwbare controle omgeving creëert. Ook optimaliseer je in samenwerking met de concerncontroller en de accountant je processen, adviseer je over belangrijke risico's, en draag je bij aan de integrale beeldvorming van de organisatie. Je hebt een proactieve rol in het signaleren en voorstellen doen ter verbetering van beheersmaatregelen op basis van het risicobeeld. Kortom, een uitdagende rol waarbij je als Financieel Auditor de organisatie voorziet van gedegen financieel toezicht en advies.

**Functie-eisen**:
Jij bent de drijvende kracht achter de optimalisatie van onze financiële processen. Jouw proactieve houding gaat verder dan het uitvoeren van controles; je bent vaardig in het ontwikkelen en uitdragen van (strategisch) beleid, en nieuwe ontwikkelingen. Je kunt hierbij effectief handelen met tegengestelde standpunten binnen de organisatie. Daarnaast draag je actief bij aan de inrichting en werking van het 'Three Lines of Defence Model'.

Met een scherp oog voor de meest recente ontwikkelingen in accountancy, rechtmatigheid, interne controle en risicomanagement, breng jij een frisse en innovatieve benadering naar de tafel. Je past niet alleen bestaande kennis toe, maar deelt ook actief nieuwe methoden en technieken zoals bijv. Robotic Process Automation, waarmee je de effectiviteit en efficiëntie van onze processen bevordert.

In deze functie is jouw succes nauw verweven met je vermogen om complexe uitdagingen aan te pakken met vastberadenheid en doortastendheid.

Je zal niet alleen beleidskaders moeten ontwikkelen en een intern controleplan moeten opstellen, maar ook deze plannen doeltreffend moeten implementeren en coördineren in de gehele organisatie.

Het is essentieel dat je kritische vragen stelt, de kwaliteit van de uitvoering bewaakt, en proactief anticipeert op mogelijke knelpunten. Je bent communicatief vaardig in het uitdragen van je advies en deelt strategische inzichten met verschillende stakeholders. Je toont eigenaarschap en bent een bevlogen professional, dit samen met je scherp analytisch vermogen maken jou een gewaardeerde collega op het gebied van interne controle, maar ook binnen het team.

Je beschikt over (mínimaal) HBO werk en denkniveau met Accountancy of aantoonbare werkervaring in een soortgelijke functie.
