Join Our Team as a Dedicated Manager

At our facility, we guide two groups of clients on Paranadreef. As a manager, you will lead your team with enthusiasm and sharpness. You support employees in their work processes and when discussing complex cases, promoting teamwork and personal growth. You are open to new ideas, provide protection to your team, distribute responsibilities, and make results transparent. You translate strategic goals into concrete plans and seize opportunities optimally. You ensure the implementation of work plans and maintain an overview to set priorities. Together with other unit managers, you will occasionally cover accessibility services, contributing to the improvement of our care for individuals with complex behavioral issues. In short, you motivate, inspire, and skillfully guide your team through hectic situations with humor and perspective.

On the top floor, we assist 17 homeless adults (and some families) with high vulnerability at Parana Short Stay. We accommodate individuals transitioning from homelessness who are too vulnerable for mainstream housing. Our goal is to prepare these individuals for independent living within a maximum period of 6 months.

As a manager, you will lead the team together with the team coordinator. You coach on workflow, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and complex case discussions. You excel at encouraging employees to collaborate and further develop themselves. You are receptive to new ideas and advocate for the team.

You shape the team's content development, establish frameworks, allocate responsibilities, facilitate transparent discussions on achievements, and ensure that agreements are met. You are not afraid to delegate and grant employees autonomy. You trust in their abilities.

We observe an increasing demand for services for individuals with more complex behaviors. At Tussenvoorziening, we are enhancing our care in response. We have a support team with behavioral experts, focus on digitalizing care with innovations like the care robot Tessa, and prepare for a new methodology; LifeWise. Our goal is to internalize the support and strength from VG, ensuring individuals can live comfortably and stably at Parana.

You can translate strategic organizational goals into team plans, capitalize on opportunities, and adapt to developments. Moreover, you oversee the execution and realization of work plans. You are an adept interlocutor for other healthcare providers and housing corporations, adept at balancing the interests of clients, employees, partners, and the organization. Your comprehensive view enables you to prioritize. Together with other unit managers, once fully acclimatized, you will occasionally cover accessibility services to ensure our colleagues feel supported outside office hours.

• A salary up to €5,356 (scale 10 or 11 per the Social Work collective labor agreement) alongside an individual choice budget of 17% of your gross salary + 1.5% individual career budget
• A one-year contract for 28-32 hours with potential for a permanent contract

You are unafraid to relinquish control over the process, focusing on agreed objectives.

You possess a sense of humor and empathy, supporting your team with humor and sensitivity amid their demanding work. Taking risks? That's second nature to you. Stepping out of your comfort zone is no trouble. Empathizing with the feelings of others, be it employees or clients, is your forte.

Lastly, you can successfully initiate and implement changes, guiding your team through the process. You are eager to learn and growth-oriented, resilient, and forward-thinking.

• A relevant HBO/WO degree
• At least 4 years of leadership experience in VG/MOBW
• Familiarity with relevant methodologies such as Krachtwerk and the Presence Approach. Knowledge of LifeWise is a definite plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and numerical acumen

• At Paranadreef, we operate a dual facility guiding two groups of clients.

Parana Long Stay occupies the first, second, and third floors. This mixed housing facility accommodates around 24 clients alongside 24 other tenants from housing corporation Portaal, collectively shaping the community Parana. Our clients often have intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, or addictions (or a combination thereof). We provide extended support to our residents through the Wlz (90% have a VG indication and 10% a GGZ indication). Several clients residing in the Paranadreef neighborhood receive long-term guidance from us. The Paranadreef facility has 24/7 staffing, with support workers on a day, evening, and night roster, alongside individual counselors.
