Wat ga je doen?

Als business developer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vergroten en behouden van het marktaandeel van Demon in algoritmeontwikkeling (inclusief machine learning en AI) als een service voor productontwikkeling en onze synthetische dataproducten. Je focus ligt op het domein van Life Sciences en Health.

Jouw uitdaging is om de groei van ons jonge bedrijf te faciliteren door marktkansen te identificeren en te verzilveren en door strategisch accountmanagement uit te voeren. Je doet dit als lid van ons commerciële team en door deel te nemen aan de business development actieviteiten binnen Demcon.

Je hebt een bewezen vermogen om kansen te identificeren bij bestaande en nieuwe klanten en deze kansen te ontwikkelen tot lange termijn relaties. Samen met de projectmanager en technical lead weet je een brede en onvolledige klantvraag om te zetten in een tastbaar en betrouwbaar projectvoorstel. Je belangrijkste eigenschappen zijn ondernemerschap en flexibiliteit, evenals het vermogen om de technische en strategische uitdagingen te begrijpen. Bovendien heb je een duidelijke productvisie en ben je in staat om duidelijk te communiceren naar zowel technische als commerciële belanghebbenden.

Wat breng je mee?

Ervaring in software/algoritmeontwikkeling gerelateerde verkoop: ofwel outsourcing van productontwikkelingsprojecten en/of detachering voor relevante rollen in dergelijke projecten; Ervaring met zowel MKB- als grootzakelijke klanten; Een relevant netwerk op het gebied van Life Sciences & Health (bijvoorbeeld cardiovasculaire systemen, kritieke zorgsystemen, thuisbehandelingen en wearables, diagnostische beeldvorming, interventionele systemen, in-vitro diagnostiek, radiotherapie-oncologie of regeneratieve geneeskunde); Master- of PhD-diploma op het gebied van software-/algoritmeontwikkeling en minimaal 5 jaar commerciële ervaring in een organisatie die zich richt op technologieontwikkeling; Bereid om te reizen (internationaal).
