Purpose of the role:


The PMO is responsible for supporting the Project Managers in his/her role to coordinate and manage all aspects of Data Management & Regulatory reporting implementations according to the established time schedule.

The new PMO will be directly assigned to the largest (strategic) project of MBE (started this year).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains a platform for collaboration and information sharing.
  • Monitors project progress and intervenes proactively; escalates if appropriate.
  • Sees to a timely and thorough preparation of documentation, meetings etc.
  • Prepare power point packs for formal meetings like steerco's and committees and/or review steerco packs produced by PM
  • Organize logistics: onboarding of new project resources, organize and plan recurring (steerco meetings) and ad hoc meetings, capture and share minutes of the meeting, align with senior secretaries in case Management Board members are involved
  • Ensures compliance with inand external regulations.
  • A cando attitude and commercial mindset with experienced in working to targets and is not afraid to get their hands dirty where necessary.
  • Overseeing a fastpaced project portfolio with the ability to optimize and or offer support to guarantee timelines and requirements are met.
  • Coordinate the project management team and delegate tasks.
  • Ensure, establish and maintain the Project Management Standards, and best practice, ensuring that project is executed efficiently.
  • Monitor expenditures and create detailed reports for steerco and/or upper management
  • Administration miscellaneous like monitoring of time capturing by project members
  • Follow up on outstanding requests with Service Desk

Education and work experience:

Master's degree and 2 years of experience as a Project Manager Officer and/or PMO lead, in the financial industry.

Technical Skills and Knowledge requirements
The function also requires knowledge and understanding/experience of / with the bank's business, policies, rules and guidelines.

  • Project Management (from planning to evaluation).
  • Endtoend processes and front office workflows.
  • Change Management (tools and methodologies such as SWOT, gap analyses etc.).
  • Working in an international matrix organization.
  • Communication (verbal and written)
  • Planning and organization (solving problems, managing relations and short timelines).

Project Administration support tasks

  • Plan, organize, update and steer actions for project implementations.
  • Support on developing project deliverables based on requirements.
  • Linking pin within the team and to other stakeholders.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings.
  • Support on HR related (administrative) activities.
  • Check and prepare material as needed for project activities.
  • Design and update a range of schedules and action lists.
