Account Manager SaaS

Founded 6 years ago, Skoon is a rapidly growing scale-up with a mission to democratize access to and make clean energy affordable for all, all the time.

In 2023, we've secured €5M in Series A funding, bolstering our leading position as the world's largest online platform for clean mobile energy systems. We're expanding our team and global presence. To propel the company to the next level, we're searching for an Account Manager to join our vibrant team.


Your role as an Account Manager;

  • Foster and nurture relationships with key partners and customers to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary contact for designated accounts, overseeing all communication and ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Keep tabs on key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts and offer suggestions for enhancements as required.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams such as operations and IT to ensure smooth product or service delivery to customers.
  • Spot new business prospects within designated accounts and collaborate with sales teams to pursue these opportunities.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Stay updated on company products, services, and competitive offerings.


Candidate Profile

We're seeking a skilled Account Manager who excels at quick problem-solving and comprehends the dynamics of a fast-paced startup environment. We're looking for someone who can expand our global customer network and forge enduring relationships with Skoon's partners and clients. Personal and professional commitment to our team, product, and mission is highly valued.


We're looking for someone who;

  • Has over 3 years of experience in customer-facing or account management roles.
  • Boasts an analytical mindset, adept at gathering and interpreting data to provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Is an outstanding communicator and sets an example for the rest of the team.
  • Can establish and maintain customer relationships at all levels.
  • Thrives under pressure and efficiently juggles various projects.
  • Pays attention to detail, maintaining top-notch accuracy and quality standards.
  • Exhibits a strong sense of responsibility and can manage expectations effectively.
  • Is passionate about sustainability, renewable energy, and catalyzing the energy transition.
  • Can demonstrate software and has experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Can prioritize effectively, implementing long-term plans while handling short-term projects.
  • Is open to traveling across Europe for business trips as necessary.
  • Can fluently speak, read, and write English and preferably Dutch at a professional level.

Bonus if you have;

  • relevant experience in the energy sector to communicate and advise customers confidently.
