Information Domain Architect

What are your responsibilities?

Architecture:
As a member of the Architecture team, your role will encompass shaping the Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap for the Data domain, as well as for the entirety of the enterprise landscape. You'll collaborate closely with other Domain Architects and Tech Leads to seamlessly integrate the Data architecture with other Domains. Your responsibility will involve establishing specific standards, principles, and best practices for Data within the domain, taking ownership of defining and crafting the interactions among technological components (systems, sub-systems, and components) of the data architecture. This includes ensuring their agility, reliability, scalability, and their harmonious interactions with other domains. You will also be tasked with formulating and safeguarding the Domain Blueprint, while maintaining the quality and structure of the data model. Furthermore, you will lead the company-wide taxonomy process.
Support:
In this role, you'll provide valuable support to the Product Owner of Data Platforms as they shape the roadmap for Data Platforms. You will engage with essential Key Stakeholders within the business to assist in setting up the Data Governance and executing the data strategy effectively. Additionally, your expertise will be harnessed as a subject matter authority in various Projects & Programs.
Management:
Your responsibilities extend to discovering and unlocking data from novel sources, and you will play a pivotal role in establishing new interfaces. You'll assume technical ownership of Data Applications, encompassing elements such as access and authorization levels. This could include overseeing tools like the analytics platform and the DMP. Your interactions will also extend to collaboration with the Legal and Compliance teams.

Your Tasks

Data Domain:

Solid command of the SQL programming language, along with a sound understanding of NoSQL databases and/or other prominent Big Data Technologies. Familiarity with BI tool landscape like Business Objects, Tableau, Looker, etc. Experience working with programming languages like Python, R, Javascript, etc. Understanding of Analytics systems and 360 customer solutions Proficiency in data modelling and design tools

Information Architecture

Proficiency in architecting data warehouses, data lakes, and big data platforms is expected. Setting up, manage and improve Data Quality and Data Governance A believer of documenting the architectures and drawing relavant diagrams. Extensive experience working in diagramming tools like Lucidchart. Experience in crafting architectures driven by APIs, encompassing ETL and web interfaces. Familiarity with Microservices, and Event Driven Architectures.

Change Management:

Experience in working as part of large change projects. Proven work experience with continuous change (Agile) with SCRUM, SAFe, or other relevant methodologies. Is able to handle and navigate complexity and uncertainty nature of future. Has experience working with and managing large vendors

Communication and Soft skills

Possesses analytical acumen coupled with strong interpersonal skills. Exhibits qualities of determination, self-initiation, drive, and proactive behavior. Displays decisiveness and a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Expresses assertiveness and possesses well-honed communication skills. Capable of effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical personnel across all organizational tiers, to comprehend and address their requirements within rapidly changing contexts.

Your profile

A minimum of 8 years of experience within the field of IT is essential. Proven experience in Information Architecture for at least 3 years. An Experience in the media industry is a plus. Has relevant permit to work in the Netherlands. Proficient in English language. Proficiency in Dutch is a bonus. Excellent in oral and written communication skills.

As an Information Domain Architect you will be part of the Architects team within the business unit Technology. You will be working closely with the Data related departments within the organization. You will be working among professionals passionate to bring RTL to next level in the industry
