Our Supply Chain Management department is comprised of dedicated professionals, including warehouse employees, buyers, expedition and customs officers, and the Supply Chain Manager.

Together, this diverse team of talented individuals is committed to ensuring seamless coordination and efficient operations across all aspects of our supply chain.


Job description:


As a Supply Chain Officer, you play a crucial role in coordinating various aspects of procurement processes and ensuring smooth operation of the Supply Chain.

You contribute to the team's success by efficiently assisting with challenging quotation requests and optimizing operational procedures.

You will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the flow of goods and materials within our supply chain.

You will primarily focus on local activities and carry out your duties from our office in Rotterdam.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the handling and elaboration of quotation requests.
  • Order desired items and materials based on purchase rules from the administrative system.
  • Generate purchase orders based on purchase proposals or advisory orders.
  • Inform the internal organization about the progress and status of deliveries and ensure the availability of necessary information and documentation.
  • Stay informed about developments within the assigned product categories.
  • Masterfully manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of goods.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with diverse departments and supply chain stakeholders, ensuring harmonious operations.
  • Possess the keen eye to conduct regular stock counts, keeping our inventory in topnotch shape.
  • Preparing goods for shipment is your forte.

Requirements:

This characterizes you:

  • You are at the beginning of your career.
  • Enjoys taking initiative and is assertive in task execution.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Can adapt to changing priorities and performs well under pressure.
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and in writing (Dutch is a plus).

  • Work experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Minimum completion of a vocational education (MBO) in a relevant field.
