Jouw rol is cruciaal voor de ontwikkeling van nieuwe materialen en processen voor een steeds groter toepassingsgebied, maar ook voor het oplossen van problemen en het ondersteunen van productie
- en klanttoepassingen. Jouw onderzoeksmindset, probleemoplossende houding, sterke planningsvaardigheden en oog voor detail stellen je in staat om onze analytische uitdagingen aan te gaan.
- Als Research & Development Chemist in het analytisch laboratorium, zul je commerciële teams en klanten ondersteunen, productontwikkelingsprojecten en interne analytische ontwikkelingen. Jouw ervaring en groei in de positie zijn van onschatbare waarde voor jouw belanghebbenden. Samenwerken met andere experts in het Europese en wereldwijde team

**Jouw werkzaamheden**:

- Diverse analytische verzoeken voor productie, markt
- en klantenondersteuning en onderzoeksprojecten afhandelen en uitvoeren;
- Nieuwe meetmethoden en protocollen ontwikkelen en vertalen, vaak met hulp van gespecialiseerde teamleden;
- Bijdragen aan het onderhoud en de verbetering van de relevante apparatuur;
- Efficiënt meerdere projecten tegelijk organiseren, prioriteren en afhandelen;
- Nauw communiceren met belanghebbenden, analytische oplossingen voorstellen, afstemmen over opleveringen en deadlines, rapporteren en/of presenteren en resultaten bespreken en opvolgen;
- Bijdragen aan en bevorderen van een hoog veiligheidscultuur in het laboratorium en op locatie;
- Om succesvol te zijn in deze rol, moet je een goed begrip ontwikkelen van processen en materialen binnen zowel R&D als Productie. Groei en kennis van actuele ontwikkelingen in jouw vakgebied zullen de waarde vergroten die je aan het team zult brengen.

Junior Application Engineer

**Wat heb jij in huis?**:

- Je hebt een universitair (BSc.) diploma /hbo-opleiding in Analytische Chemie, Organische Chemie of vergelijkbaar;
- Kennis van spectroscopische, element analyse of chromatografische technieken (kennis van meerdere technieken is een pluspunt);
- Zelfstarter, met aangetoonde capaciteit om zelfstandig te werken na afronding van een opleidingstraject;
- Bewezen affiniteit met analyses en metingen, inclusief betrouwbaarheid en kritische evaluatie van gegevens gegenereerd door deze metingen;
- Sterke organisatorische en besluitvormende vaardigheden;
- Pragmatisch met een analytische kijk;
- Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels - mondeling en schriftelijk;
- Goede interpersoonlijke en teamwerkvaardigheden;
- Flexibel, creatief en onafhankelijk - in staat om prioriteiten te verschuiven indien nodig;
- Kennis van polymeren is een pluspunt.
