Wil jij graag werken in de food sector en hecht je veel waarde aan de kwaliteit van fruit? Als Quality technician bij dit internationale bedrijf tussen Den Haag en Rotterdam ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de check op kwaliteit

Wanneer het fruit in het magazijn aankomt, laad je het uit en controleer je het op kwaliteit. Je werkt aan inspecties, stempelt ladingen, verzamelt, herschikt en vernietigt weigeringen na goedkeuring van de USDA. Voordat er Lab-tests of inspectieactiviteiten worden uitgevoerd, voer jij indien nodig aanpassingen door die nodig zijn om te voldoen aan sanitaire eisen. In deze rol ben je de tussenpersoon voor communicatie tussen USDA en magazijn. Verder ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volgende taken:

  • Ladingen stempelen volgens USDA-specificaties;
  • Weigeringen bijhouden en herschikken;
  • Je reinigt en desinfecteert inspectieruimtes en het magazijn;
  • Je ontvangt recalls en waarschuwingen en distribueert deze naar de juiste leden van het management;
  • Je voltooit de SSOP-checklist;
  • Je houdt een logboek van het laboratorium bij.

Waar ga je werken?

Het bedrijf exporteert fruit en groenten wereldwijd. De vestiging in Nederland, tussen Rotterdam en Den Haag, telt 25 medewerkers. De voertaal is Engels en veel collega's spreken Spaans. Ze werken in shifts: maandag tot en met vrijdag van 06:00 tot 15:00 uur of van 08:00/09:00 tot 17:00/18:00 uur (rijbewijs en auto vereist vanwege de vroege shift). Incidenteel kan er gevraagd worden of je op zaterdag wilt werken (met toeslag).

  • Je bent fysiek in staat om in een koude omgeving te werken en om zwaardere objecten te tillen, dragen, positioneren of verplaatsen.

  • Salaris tussen € 2.600,- en € 2.800,- bruto per maand + eindejaarsbonus;
  • 26 vakantiedagen;
  • Reiskostenvergoeding € 0,23 per kilometer;
