Als Second Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het technisch operationeel houden van de sleepboot. Je doet al het nodige qua onderhoud om het materieel draaiend te houden. Je vertegenwoordigt het bedrijf en haar beleid. Je rapporteert hiërarchisch aan de Tug Master en hebt een functionele lijn naar de Superintendent.
Belangrijke taken:
Als Second Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van de gehele technische uitrusting en voer je onderhoud en reparaties uit. Je zorgt voor een correct en efficiënt gebruik van reserveonderdelen, brandstoffen en smeermiddelen. Dit omvat een goede administratie en correct gebruik van het bestel- en onderhoudssysteem. Veiligheid is cruciaal in ons bedrijf. Het periodiek testen van de gehele apparatuur en het uitvoeren van oefeningen is vereist. Tijdens sleepwerkzaamheden ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bedienen van de lier volgens de instructies van de gezagvoerder.What type of candidate are we looking for?
