Job Description

A Logistic Worker serves in an administrative and organizational capacity within a warehouse or distribution center.

Throughout the entire process of receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, the Logistics Employee ensures the smooth flow of operations.

Responsibilities of a (versatile) Logistics Employee typically encompass the following:

  • Efficient loading and unloading of trucks
  • Packaging and potentially repackaging items
  • Sorting and labeling of merchandise
  • Preparing orders for shipment
  • Handling returned products
  • Inspecting items for quality, quantity, packaging, and serial numbers, among other criteria
  • Completing administrative tasks using computer systems
  • Identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors in outgoing or incoming orders
  • Performing minor equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Conducting regular inventories of warehouse stock
  • Operating reach trucks, EPTs, or forklifts to move goods in the warehouse
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization within the warehouse

This full-time position in Eindhoven involves working in two shifts. One week entails an early shift from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, while the following week involves a late shift from Monday to Friday, approximately 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. On occasion, you may be required to work on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Requirements

To excel in this role, we believe the following qualities are essential:

  • Prior experience in logistics and operating an EPT is preferred; possessing a valid certificate would be advantageous
  • Interest in working with fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays is a plus
  • Proficiency in Dutch and/or English languages
  • Adaptability to varying work hours depending on demand
  • Residence in or near Eindhoven, Tilburg, or Helmond
Working Conditions
