Financial Accountant

You will report to the Manager Accounting & Reporting.

Key accountabilities:

Excecutes and checks the accounting process, such that:

Ensuring an up to date overview of the accounting of the organization; Ensuring all information is accurate, timely and valid for the company's financial information process; Contributing correct presentation of the accounting in financial reports; Providing input for short-term and long-term cash flow; Improving structures and processes.

Assisting with the month-end and year-end closings and annual financial statement audits, such that:

All information is accurately recorded prior to preparation of financial statements; Compliance to internal policies is ensured; Financial reports are reviewed and variances are identified and corrected timely; Deadlines are achieved within a certain timeline.

Take are of internal invoicing to internal and external customers, such that:

Invoices are daily checked, encoded and correctly processed; Foreign currency exchanges are analyzed and performed; The foreign VAT is, in close cooperation with an outside VAT expert, correctly reclaimed.

Process invoices and issuing payments, such that:

All invoices and requests are reviewed, coded and verified for approval prior to payment; Proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments is obtained; Questionable invoice items, prices or received signatures are clarified; All invoices are paid in a correct and timely manner; All vendor inquiries are responded correctly, vendor statements are reconciled and discrepancies are researched and corrected

Knowledge & experience

2-6 years' experience in a financial administrative environment Eduacation level MBO Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch; Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Especially Excel); Problem solving skills Works accurately

Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Perseverance in driving value, with resistance to setbacks Pro-active Hands-on Multi-tasking And you enjoy working in our inspirational office
