Job Summary
For our production location in Papendrecht, we are currently seeking a buyer/inkoper to join our team. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for timely ordering of necessary materials, resolving material shortages, tracking shipments, and maintaining supplier relationships.
Job Responsibilities
As a Buyer, your tasks will include:
- Procuring the right production materials
- Following up on orders in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
- Identifying process improvements
- Resolving material shortages
- Escalating to suppliers when necessary
- Collaborating between planners, operations, and procurement
Job Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we require:
- HBO level of education, Supply Chain Management or Procurement Management background is advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant procurement experience
- Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Ability to build relationships with suppliers and insight into supplier processes
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English languages
- Analytical skills, decisiveness, customer orientation, and organizational sensitivity
