The role

Wil jij deel uitmaken van ons dynamische en internationale team? Binnen het Financial Regulatory team van de Litigation and Regulatory praktijkgroep bieden we jou de mogelijkheid om te werken aan een breed scala van financieel toezichtrechtelijke kwesties, van ESG-wetgeving tot AI en vergunningsprocessen. Als (Senior) Associate Financial Regulatory werk je nauw samen en lever je een waardevolle bijdrage aan diverse cliënten, waaronder traditionele banken, verzekeraars, beleggingsondernemingen, beleggingsinstellingen, fintech-startups en meer. Naast jouw juridische expertise is strategisch denken, projectmanagement en een nauwe samenwerking met internationale teams en andere praktijkgroepen zoals Corporate, Litigation en Intellectual Property and Technology van essentieel belang.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Projectmatig werken aan vergunningsaanvragen en M&A-dealsVerlenen van strategisch advies bij de implementatie van nieuwe wetgeving op het gebied van AI, ESG en DORA, met een focus op het identificeren van kansen en risico'sAdviseren over doorlopend toezicht zoals het voldoen aan de Wwft en de beloningsregels en het maken van notificatiesHet opstellen of nakijken van overeenkomsten en beleidsregels voor financiële ondernemingen, bijvoorbeeld polissen en samenwerkingenovereenkomsten voor verzekeraars en het uitbestedingsbeleid van betaalinstellingenAls ondernemende advocaat krijg jij de ruimte en de kans om mee te bouwen en de praktijk nog verder uit te bouwen en betrokken bent bij alle facetten van het managen van zaken en clienten. Daarbij is een proactieve, commerciële en flexibele aanpak essentieelDeelnemen aan teamvergaderingen, kennisdelingssessies en internationale samenwerkingsprojecten om bij te dragen aan de continue ontwikkeling van zowel jezelf als het team
