Functie

As a Design Engineer at CoreDux, you'll be at the forefront of developing crucial hose systems - the 'arteries' of high-tech machines. You'll work within the Design Engineering Team, translating client requirements into perfect artery systems for technical equipment. Your role involves creating new gas & fluid layouts or adapting existing solutions to state-of-the-art standards, always considering the '3S-principles': Share, Solve, and Supply.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing technical solutions (fit, form, function, and cost) and verifying manufacturability
  • Communicating with various departments and external contacts to align client requirements
  • Participating in New Product Introductions (NPIs) and writing test instructions
  • Performing design-FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and documenting development results
  • Collaborating with Process and Manufacturing Engineering to develop new technologies and improve production
  • Designing product packaging and supporting its alignment
  • Participating in technology scouting, innovation projects, and optimization of tools & methods
Functie-eisen

We're looking for a skilled and adaptable Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. You bring:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in (Mechanical) Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to perform structural calculations (static loads) and FEM calculations for complex designs
  • Experience with FMEA risk assessments
  • Expertise in either SolidWorks or Siemens NX
  • An eagerness to learn, openness to new ideas, and adaptability
  • You live in the area of Tilburg or with an approximately travel distance of 30 minutes.
