Logistics Team LeaderDelivering something valuable from point A to point B is what DHL eCommerce Netherlands is all about. As a Logistics Team Leader, you will directly contribute to this goal. You will lead the staff in our daily sorting process. Choose bright yellow with a touch of red, and you will soon make a difference for thousands of senders and receivers worldwide.
Your ResponsibilitiesAs a team leader at DHL eCommerce in Amsterdam, you will provide daily operational leadership at the location where many packages are sorted at a high pace. You will closely monitor progress, spending a lot of time on the work floor. Additionally, you will maintain contact with our national transport planners to ensure that all shipments depart on time with the correct routes. We continuously optimize the sorting process to increase sorting capacity, and you will contribute to this. In everything you do, you keep the end goal in mind: a satisfied customer.
You will also ensure that:

• The team is briefed so that everyone knows what needs to be done.
• Packages and pallets move smoothly through the process and are delivered to customers according to standards.
• Coordination of transport and the logistics process is completed correctly through good coordination and cooperation.

Working HoursAs a logistics team leader, you will work in a 4-shift system from Monday to Saturday morning.

• 07:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• 06:00 PM - 2:30 AM
• 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM

Your New WorkplaceWe are located at Kaapstadweg 25 in Amsterdam, working with our RegionHub Manager Raoul, 9 supervisors, 20 team leaders, 15 operators, and over 80 drivers. About YouA results-oriented and driven individual who always keeps the goal in mind: that the customer receives their shipment on time. With a good sense of humor, you set the right priorities and look for process improvements. You are also willing to work irregular shifts (alternating day, evening, and night shifts).
Additionally, you have the following:

• You are customer-oriented both internally and externally, thanks to your strong communication skills and adaptability;
• You are physically fit and have a strong sense of responsibility;
• Good verbal and written proficiency in English;
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in teams of at least 20 people in a logistics/transport environment;
• MBO 4 work and thinking level;
• You are proficient in working with different systems;
• You have a Residential address in the Netherlands.

• Between € 2726,00 and € 3669,00 gross for 40 hours excluding surcharges, based on your knowledge and experience.
