  • As an Engineering Coordinator, you play a pivotal role within one of our dynamic project teams dedicated to bringing our yachts to life. You report directly to the Project Manager Engineering and are responsible for ensuring the timely availability of all engineering documents within your assigned technical discipline.
  • Specializing in a single technical area, such as Construction, Outfit, Systems, Piping, Electrical, or Interior, you bring in-depth expertise to the table. When assigning Engineering Coordinators to disciplines, we prioritize employees' main expertise, such as electrical engineering.
  • Your responsibilities include developing detailed plans and delivery schedules for engineering documentation in collaboration with your manager and other stakeholders. You serve as the primary point of contact for Regulatory Authorities, Owner’s Representatives, Designers, and Subcontractors, overseeing day-to-day progress and ensuring alignment of engineering work. When issues arise, you swiftly address them, coordinating with all parties involved and providing guidance on standards and working methods.
  • Your approach is results-oriented, focusing on effective planning and organization to achieve goals within set timelines. Collaborating closely with our Partners in a co-makership model, you identify and leverage potential synergies based on your expertise and mutual respect.
  • In addition to your coordination duties, you take on a leadership role, leading, developing, and motivating a team of in-house professionals within your functional area.

Jouw profiel
  • Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (MBO+) related in the due discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferably in maritime industry and/or yacht building industry.
  • You recognise yourself in the following competences: Decisive, persuasive, customer-oriented.
  • You have a comprehensive view of the entire process.
  • You are a passioned, technical professional that is eager to learn.
  • You are pro-active and problem-solving in your approach.
  • In depth knowledge and experience related to your technical expertise.
  • Knowledge of MS office applications, AutoCad and/or Rhinoceros.
  • A good command of written and spoken ;
