DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station offers great views, exceptional service and vibrant food & beverage outlets and is currently looking for a new (Demi) Chef de Partie to join the Kitchen team
Our hotel features an award-winning rooftop bar & terrace, pop-up restaurant Eastwood Beer & Grill, a Lobby Bar including our own in-house library, our own LOT61 Coffee Store, Amsterdam's most extensive breakfast buffet, fifteen versatile meeting rooms and 557 guest rooms.
Exciting news Our hotel is in the midst of an extensive renovation, including the rebranding and repositioning of all Food & Beverage outlets throughout 2024. LuminAir, our rooftop bar, has already undergone an impressive rebrand and has reopened in June 2023. Stay tuned for further enhancements, including the redesign of our room inventory, as part of this comprehensive project
In short, as a (Demi) Chef de Partie you will be responsible for supervising staff and ensuring high levels of food preparation on a specific section, all in an effort to deliver excellent guest experiences while assisting with food cost controls. You will see it as your duty that all working areas are kept clean and tidy to omit cross contamination. As the DoubleTree by Hilton family is one big team, you maintain good working relationships and assist other departments wherever necessary. We value your development as well as the development of the kitchen team as a whole. Thus, you will assist the Head Chef/Sous Chef in the training of all staff in compliance with procedures and report and control maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues. As a (Demi) Chef de Partie, working with our DoubleTree by Hilton brand standards, you are always working on behalf of our guests

Who are we looking for?
- A minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience in a role as Demi Chef de Partie
- A current, valid and relevant trade commercial cookery qualification (proof may be requested)
- Strong coaching skills as well as the ability and desire to motivate and lead a team
- NVQ Level 3
- Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Excellent English speaking skills
