DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station biedt een geweldig uitzicht, uitzonderlijke service en bruisende horeca en is momenteel op zoek naar een nieuwe waiter/waitress LuminAir om het Food & Beverage Team te versterken.

Ons hotel beschikt over een bekroonde rooftop bar & terras, pop-up restaurant Eastwood Beer & Grill, een Lobby Bar inclusief onze eigen in-house bibliotheek, onze eigen LOT61 Store, Amsterdams meest uitgebreide ontbijtbuffet, vijftien veelzijdige vergaderzalen en 557 gastenkamers.


De waiter/waitress LuminAir is verantwoordelijk voor het verwelkomen en bedienen van gasten in een deel van de bar en het creëren van uitzonderlijke klantervaringen. Dit is een sleutelrol in het team, zeker gezien het feit dat de rooftop bar & terras een volledige renovatie, rebranding en herpositionering heeft ondergaan met opening voor het publiek op 30 juni 2023.


Onze nieuwe rooftop bar & terras LuminAir is een inspirerende bestemming van dag tot avond in een steeds veranderende ruimte: Zowel het uitzicht buiten als de omgeving binnen zal nooit twee keer hetzelfde zijn. LuminAir is een beverage led venue, met mixologie van wereldklasse, exclusief op maat gemaakte drankjes en presentaties gebaseerd op lucht- en luchtelementen. Het foodmenu bestaat uit moderne Nederlandse en internationale bites, fingerfood en sharing plates, terwijl het Eclipse-menu - voor (semi)besloten evenementen van 30 tot 300 gasten - bestaat uit moderne canapés, tafelhapjes, barbites en cocktaildiners.

BELANGRIJKSTE VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN

Als waiter/waitress LuminAir zul je:


1. Uitzonderlijke gastervaringen

  • Welkom klanten om relaties op te bouwen en een geweldige eerste indruk te creëren.
  • Ken je menu's en kenmerkende items in detail, zodat je gasten kunt adviseren over gerechten, ingrediënten, porties en drankopties wanneer je hun bestellingen opneemt
  • Voedselallergieën en dieetwensen absoluut serieus behandelt
  • Bijdragen aan het behalen van de omzetdoelstellingen van het restaurant door upselling en persoonlijke aanbevelingen aan klanten
  • Effectief communiceren met het culinaire team en het barteam zodat alle bestellingen correct zijn, goed gepresenteerd worden en op tijd geleverd worden.
  • Eten, alcoholische en niet-alcoholische dranken efficiënt serveren en daarbij de servicevolgorde en barnormen volgen
  • Controleer of de ervaringen van gasten aan hun verwachtingen voldoen en onderneem actie om de service te verbeteren en klachten snel op te lossen, met ondersteuning van je Supervisor indien nodig.


2. Goede werkomgeving

  • Werk effectief samen met het restaurantteam om ervoor te zorgen dat de operaties soepel verlopen en draag bij aan een ondersteunende, inclusieve en motiverende werkomgeving voor alle Teamleden.


3. Dagelijkse benodigdheden

  • Zorg ervoor dat je alle regels en normen strikt naleeft, inclusief gezondheid, veiligheid en hygiëne.
  • Maak je afdeling klaar voor de dienst en zorg ervoor dat de apparatuur, het gastengedeelte en de werkruimten schoon en netjes blijven tijdens de dienst.
  • Zorg ervoor dat je alle transacties op het moment van bestelling nauwkeurig registreert in het POS-systeem, dat de facturering nauwkeurig is en dat de omgang met contant geld voldoet aan de richtlijnen van het hotel.
  • Assisteren bij het aanvullen van inventaris en apparatuur.
  • Feedback en suggesties geven aan de leiding van de bar om de ervaringen van gasten en teamleden te verbeteren.


Om succesvol te zijn in deze functie moet je:

  • Gastgerichtheid, het handhaven van de hoogste normen van authentieke service om elke keer weer gedenkwaardige gastervaringen te creëren.
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden om contact te maken met diverse klanten en informatie duidelijk te delen.
  • Goed kunnen samenwerken en een positieve houding hebben.
  • Flexibiliteit en aanpassingsvermogen, in staat om effectief te werken in een snelle omgeving terwijl je kalm en geconcentreerd blijft onder druk.
  • De perfecte kandidaat spreekt vloeiend Engels (kennis van de Nederlandse taal en kassasystemen is een voordeel).
