In this role, you will bridge the gap between a new financial ERP system and the business activities it supports, while providing assistance to your international colleagues using the system. The organization has a flat structure, which gives you broad responsibilities and the opportunity to shape your role. This suits you well—having the freedom to define your own path and future within the company. Your primary goal will be to ensure the new global ERP system (JD Edwards 9.2) meets the needs of the business. As an ERP Finance Analyst, your focus will be on the financial functionalities of the system.

ERP Finance Analyst: Key Responsibilities

  • Your team's main responsibility is to enhance and support the company's centralized ERP system, JD Edwards 9.2, with a scope that extends far beyond the Rotterdam office. You will collaborate with various business units and regions, providing financial expertise and supporting key users in navigating the system.
  • By offering this support, you will analyze and translate business challenges into actionable user stories. Your work will help advance the system's global development. Alongside reactive tasks, you'll proactively ensure that production releases are executed smoothly, minimizing disruptions for users and stakeholders.
  • Your responsibilities also include testing and configuring new solutions and applications. You'll collaborate with colleagues, developers, and other stakeholders to develop a shared vision and policies on usability, efficiency, and performance.

As an ERP Finance Analyst, you will join one of the world's leading companies in the sales, distribution, and marketing of chemicals and ingredients. This global organization supports a wide range of industries, including food, coatings, personal healthcare, household products, nutrition, and pharmaceuticals.Need a clearer picture? Clients might consult the company for solutions to make a veggie burger juicier or seek advice on using sustainable materials to minimize environmental impact.The Rotterdam office houses 80 colleagues, including 40 IT professionals. The company culture is both informal and professional, with an international atmosphere. While fluency in Dutch is not required, strong proficiency in English is essential.

Wat is jouw achtergrond en ervaring?You are going to work for HQ in Rotterdam and we are looking for somebody living in this this area. In a person we are looking for an informal professional. You will fit in a company where communication lines are short, doors are open and hierarchy is limited to the most necessary. What else?
  • You have gained about three years working experience in a financial role; using JD Edwards and within a company with a supply chain.
  • The position is on bachelor level. You have finished an education of this level in for example IT, finance or business.
  • Do you have experience in JD Edwards as a user or consultant? That is great Do you have experience in other ERP solutions? That will also be very interesting
