A day in your life with us The Occupational Health and Safety Leader will be part of the Business Risk and Compliance department. You will lead the topic of Occupational Health and Safety for IKEA NL and be the support and spokesperson for the units. The focus will be on the RI&E’s and implementing action plans, leading the occupational health and safety community (with ergo coaches / prevention officers/ external partners) .

What else you will do:â¯
- Together with the BR&C team Implementing the Ingka Occupational Health and Safety Frameworks
- Advising business owners on health and safety matters, including the design of workplaces and work procedures, the working environment and other ergonomic issues, risk assessment of working conditions, introduction of work procedures and materials, procurement of work equipment, selection and testing of personal protective equipment (PPE))
- Supporting the development of adequate ergonomics learning solutions

Who you are We are seeking an enthusiastic Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. While direct extensive knowledge is not required, we value candidates who are eager to learn and grow within the field. Your responsibilities will include risk assessment, compliance with safety regulations, and implementing safety programs.

Not required, but valued:â¯
- Extensive knowledge in occ. health and safety standards, rules and regulations in different types of property and facility operations
- Thorough knowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environment
- Good understanding of the Dutch ARBO law and how to work with RI&E’s and implementing RI&E action plans

- A 13th month and 8% holiday pay. These will be paid out in December and May as standard, but you can also choose to receive them monthly.
- A collective bonus scheme. This is determined annually and amounts to a maximum of 150% of your gross monthly salary.
- Travel expenses for public transport are reimbursed 100%. Do you live within a radius of 5 to 20 km from the IKEA store? Then you can also opt for a lease bicycle. Are you traveling by car? Then you will receive a travel allowance up to a maximum of 200 euros per month.
- 15% employee discount at all IKEA stores in the Netherlands.
