UX Researcher

Introduction

ASML is looking to strengthen the User Experience (UX) competence team within ASML IT. In the role as UX Researcher you will research our users and user journeys that are supported by our applications.

Your role

Our goal is to make sure that the needs of all relevant user groups are understood and taken into account in the design of mySupport Hub, our internal portal, based on ServiceNow, covering employee services in areas such as HR, IT, Facilities, and Finance. You will also ensure that the user journeys will be monitored and continuously improved. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that consists of e.g., a product owner, a solution architect, a business process analyst and software developers. You will play an important role in defining, embedding and executing the user-centered design process, together with the Interaction Designer. You will also share knowledge and experiences with your ±70 peer designers from the employee-facing side of the UX competence.

A grasp of your responsibilities:

• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing, UX analytics, etc.) to identify, create and improve our user journeys
• Plan and execute Design Thinking workshops to involve and align all relevant stakeholders and business priorities
• Collaborate with the other roles in the team, to ensure user insights are understood, valued and acted upon

Education and experience

You are a motivated team player with effective communication skills who puts users in the center of our work. You are able to link UX improvements to desired business outcomes and embed your research activities in our Agile way of working. Working as a UX Researcher means bringing the following knowledge and expertise:

• Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, psychology, marketing or another relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience in UX research functions in global, corporate environments
• An outstanding portfolio of work demonstrating human-centered research capabilities across a diverse range of projects

At ASML we invent, develop and manufacture world-leading high tech lithography machines for our chip making customers. These tailor-made machines can image billions of structures in a few seconds with an accuracy of a few silicon atoms. The IT division supports information management, infrastructure and key business processes across ASML. The IT

infrastructure, hardware and applications are critical for almost all ASML's internal and external activities.
