Wat ga je doen


Als Technical Lead stuur jij het projectteam aan dat het Data & Analytics platform van onze klanten realiseert. Dit doe je op basis van je inhoudelijke kennis, bijvoorbeeld op het gebied van AWS of Azure.

Belangrijk is dat je naast technische kennis ook gevoel hebt voor de business crux van het project en de uitdagingen die bij een dataplatform horen, zoals datamanagement, privacy en stakeholder management.

Dit kenmerkt onze integrale aanpak en maakt Hot ITem anders dan anderen. Jouw werk wordt écht gebruikt binnen de bedrijven om het verschil te maken.

  • Naast het ontwerpen van een solide datafundament, zorg je samen met je team van Data Engineers ook voor de realisatie. Hierdoor zijn onze klanten nóg succesvoller met data en daar doen we het voor.
  • Bij het realiseren van de oplossing is er aandacht voor het gebruiken en creëren van herbruikbare onderdelen.
  • Jij zet de technische lijnen uit; zowel voor de infrastructuur maar vooral ook voor datamodellen en datastromen. Hoe verwerken wij data en hoe zorgen we ervoor dat dit optimaal aansluit bij de besturingsbehoefte van onze klanten?
  • De klant heeft een goed beeld van de technische oplossing die wordt opgeleverd, het noodzakelijke beheer en de te verwachten ‘product life cycle’.
  • Dankzij jou is er grip op de techniek binnen het project en is het geleverde werk van kwalitatief hoog niveau. Echt iets om trots op te zijn


Voorbeelden van recente projecten:

  • Het realiseren van een modern datafundament bij een openbaar vervoer bedrijf op basis van cloud technologie, met daarin een plek voor zowel gestructureerde als ongestructureerde data. Hierdoor is deze klant in staat om nog meer waarde uit data te halen en datagedreven te worden.
  • Voor de grootste pech hulpverlener van Nederland realiseren we een datahub, waarin data voor de gehele organisatie beschikbaar wordt gesteld.
  • Realisatie van een Datawarehouse voor een telecom bedrijf, waardoor zij een continu beeld hebben van aantallen klanten, aansluitingen en product afname.


Kennisdeling en ontwikkeling

  • Je zorgt voor een goede samenwerking en kennisuitwisseling tussen de verschillende (technisch) specialisten, zodat het team zich geïnspireerd en uitgedaagd voelt
  • Het technisch team is uitgerust met de juiste kennis en weet hoe de technische oplossing eruit ziet en wat er van hen verwacht wordt
  • Er zijn volop trainings- en leermogelijkheden in onze competentie groep 'Architectuur & Tech Lead'
  • Je bent omringd door collega's die hun kennis graag met je delen
  • Je krijgt veel vrijheid om een eigen ontwikkelpad uit te stippelen


Wie zijn wij

Het cluster Data Engineering bestaat uit ongeveer 60 Engineers, Tech Leads en Architecten. Samen met onze collega's uit de andere clusters willen we het verschil maken bij de klant. Bij ons is er veel ruimte voor plezier en persoonlijke ontwikkeling. Wat breng jij mee

  • Goede kennis van ten minste één cloud platform: Azure of AWS
  • Ruime ervaring met data platformen en warehouses met daarin Microsoft, Oracle of Cloud native warehouse oplossingen zoals Synapse, Redshift of Snowflake
  • Ervaring in datamodellering: (Derde normaalvorm - Dimensioneel - Data Vault)
  • Begrip en ervaring in concepten zoals Ci/Cd en infra as code.
  • Goede beheersing van SQL, Python en ervaring in Powershell is een pré
  • In staat om op de juiste niveaus met de bijv. de CIO, Manager SIC en technische collega’s te communiceren
  • Ervaring met projectmanagement waarbij je verantwoordelijk was voor de planning, scope, middelen en resultaat van het project
  • Scherpe ideeën, veel energie en een open manier van communiceren
  • Gezonde dosis relativeringsvermogen en humor
  • Goede kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal
