Job Description
Within ASML Business Line Application, we are looking for a talented software engineer, to join our Software Facility & Infra group within D&E Metrology and Patterning Cluster. In this group, we develop software infrastructure, diagnostics and facilities for both YieldStar and E-Beam Product-Lines.
In this position, you work as C# Software Engineer and contribute in our transition toward a new scalable & future-proof software platform. You are expected to be a multidisciplinary software engineer with broad experience in software infrastructure technologies such as virtualization, containerization and computer networks.
You will be a member of a scrum team working in multidisciplinary environment, in this environment you will interact with peer software engineers , DevOps teams, IT infra teams, and other stakeholders. With your talent and experience you are expected to foster the team effort in making the transition toward the new software platform
Roles and responsibilities
You work in SAFe organization and as a scrum team member use a disciplined agile/scrum based way of working
You familiarize yourself with our current solutions and understand our complex metrology domain
You use your expertise to steer solutions into the right directions and drive/support your colleagues in realizing these solutions
You align requirements, specifications and designs with relevant stakeholders
You apply best software practices to realize high-quality software
You demonstrate end-to-end ownership for software deliverables, that include, documentation, design, implementation and testing
You learn fast and stay passionate to expand your knowledge beyond software engineering
Education and experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant field
Overall at least 10 years of work experience
3-4 years of hand-on experience in C# software development, or similar object oriented technologies
Next to C# development experience you also have 3-4 years of experience as a devops engineer
2 years of experience in developing software for high-tech equipment
Affinity with computer systems
Experience in applying SW design patterns to create robust and maintainable designs
Experience in both Linux and Windows environments
Experience in software virtualizations
Experience in software containerization
Experience in software computer networks
Experience in security
Experience in testing is a plus
Qualification and Skills
