Infinitas Learning has leading market positions in the Netherlands (Noordhoff and Futurewhiz), Portugal (LeYa), Belgium (Plantyn), and Sweden (Liber). The group delivers an annual turnover of approximately €350 million and employs around 1,250+ employees. In January 2024, the acquisition of Wydawnictwa Szkolne i Pedagogiczne (WSiP), a prominent player holding the #2 market position in education in Poland, was announced. Since 2021, NPM Capital, a Dutch-based private equity firm, has been the owner and investor in the company. With NPM Capital on board, they continue to build in Europe on their leading positions by investing in the provision of digital content, supplemental EdTech solutions, and innovative learning models.

Description

They're currently seeking a proactive, analytical, and ambitious financial professional to join their dynamic team (Tax & Accounting). This individual will thrive in their fast-growing, international environment, backed by private equity.

  • Responsible for the monthly group financial consolidation following IFRS standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for group entities.
  • Facilitate the audit process for all entities.
  • Develop the financial control framework, including checklists.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
  • Drive process improvements.
  • Address IFRS issues, for example, those related to Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE).
  • You will work closely with other departments within the organization and external parties such as auditors.
  • Engaged in various internal projects to accomplish growth objectives.

Profile

  • MSc or BSc degree in Finance, (Business) Economics, or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2-6 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in IFRS standards.
  • English communication skills.
  • Pragmatic, proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, taking ownership of tasks.

Job Offer

  • A salary ranging from €65,000 to €85,000 gross per year based on a 40-hour workweek, commensurate with your education and experience.
  • Personal choice budget of 12% (8% vacation pay + 4% additional).
  • Performance-based profit-sharing scheme (approximately 6%).
  • 23 vacation days based on a 40-hour workweek.
  • Reimbursement of commuting costs or option for an NS business card.
