We're in need of a Senior Financial Analyst for our COSI Human Health team in Haarlem. Welcome to Our TeamOur Finance team utilizes advanced financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting, and performance evaluation techniques to drive medical innovation and improve lives. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing, reviewing, reporting, and analyzing inventory, production, and product cost data. Additionally, you'll support monthly accounting close and management cycles for various branches globally within the Cost of Sales & Inventory (COSI) matrix organization.
Furthermore, you'll participate in the annual budget cycle of the company, collaborating closely with stakeholders to determine manufacturing costs and inventory valuation based on our supply chains. Being a part of a global finance team, you'll also have the chance to contribute to company-wide projects, where our team plays a crucial role in overseeing manufacturing costs from end to end.
Main Responsibilities- Maintain and create product cost following US GAAP rules
- Control and analyze monthly production results and variances
- Ensure accurate data reporting for product cost and inventory
- Analyze global standard revisions by plant
- Prepare annual profit plan
- Maintain costing and accounting master data
- Identify cost control and efficiency improvement initiatives
- Meet S404 requirements and update documentation
- Address customer inquiries and provide accurate financial data
- Perform supervisory function and participate in projects and management discussions
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, business, administration, or economics
- 3-5 years of relevant finance experience
- Preferably finance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in analytical roles, cost accounting, and production analysis with SAP preferred
- Practical experience in preparing accounts in accordance with US GAAP
- Team player with a strong focus on improvement
- Fluency in English
