About the Role

In this position, you will play a crucial role in aligning our external engagement strategy with our associate engagement activities to ensure consistency in our messaging to both external stakeholders and our internal team. Your main tasks will include:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our social media presence, both on our corporate channels and providing executive support.
  • Support Novartis country reputation management and targeted corporate brand positioning related to core disease areas and content priorities.
  • Support the Novartis Corporate brand to ensure a consistent brand experience locally.
  • Assess engagement and behavior change using metric and measurement tools to refine messaging and presence while making recommendations for communication program improvements.
  • Use 'DIY tool kits' to enhance internal communications channels, tailoring messages and channels to various internal audiences.
  • Establish relationships with senior Business Partners and/or senior Communications colleagues to manage internal plans effectively.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and maintain quality and compliance in communication materials.
  • Collaborate with the C&E team to maintain high standards and achieve successful delivery.

Role Requirements

What are we looking for: Essential Criteria

  • Significant experience in Channel utilization, Creative writing for various channels, Storytelling, media relations, visual communication, audience/stakeholder mapping, and successful campaign management.
  • Project management skills with strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Thrive in a dynamic business environment with robust communication responsibilities, showing the ability to collaborate, work independently, and deliver outcomes as part of a team.
  • Proficient in digital and technology with a strong understanding of social media, aiming to enhance our external and internal presence with project and operational excellence.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Bachelor's Degree/University Diploma or equivalent in Operations management and execution, cross-cultural experience, project management.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience/knowledge of the Dutch Healthcare system.
