CSR Advisor

We are looking for a CSR Advisor for our Sustainability Department. Working out of the head office in Hilversum the CSR Advisor will support the development, implementation and monitoring of the CSR strategy and work in close cooperation with the Sustainability Manager, suppliers, buying teams and external stakeholders to improve our sustainability performance.

You will support the team with these daily tasks:

• Supporting the development and execution of the Together Tomorrow sustainability strategy both on an analytical and practical level;
  
• Onboarding and monitoring production facilities;
  
• Analyzing and monitoring social audit reports (BSCI, SMETA, FSLM etc.), writing CAPs and supporting suppliers in implementing continuous improvement measures;
  
• Performing Human Rights risk assessments in production facilities and operating countries, to produce actionable improvement suggestions;
  
• Developing policies relating to the company's social sustainability strategy;
  
• Actioning the company's social responsibility strategy to ensure that Hunkemöller remains at the forefront of their social sustainability efforts;
  
• Support the building of strategies and frameworks for complying with upcoming sustainability legislation (CS3D, CSRD, DPP etc.);
  
• Researching best practices and writing internal and external reports on social sustainability topics, labour- and human rights.
  
• Stakeholder management and engagement (internal and external);
  
• Staying informed about emerging trends and best practices in social sustainability;
  
• Project management on topics of social and human rights, including Responsible Purchasing Practices (RPP);
  
• Delivering internal training and awareness progammes.
  
  Our ideal candidate:
  • Is passionate about social sustainability and human rights;
    
  • Has knowledge and interest in sustainability related legislation;
    
  • Has a Bachelors, Masters, or HBO+/WO studies in sustainability, law, or international business;
    
  • Has at least one year experience in dealing with CSR/social sustainability topics and data.
    
  • Has a demonstrated knowledge of sustainability in the textile supply chain & retail sector or related industry;
    
  • Has experience with social audit methodologies/frameworks such as BSCI, SMETA and SLCP;
    
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including employees, external partners, and suppliers;
    
  • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a hands-on mentality and is results oriented;
    
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking, re-prioritizing projects, and communicating priority updates to interested parties.
    
  • Is fluent in spoken and written English. Dutch is an advantage.
