Role SummaryAs a senior backend engineer you will be a part of a cross-functional and agile team of 5-7 people, where you will;
Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycleWork with cutting-edge technologies/libraries on a microservice-based architectureCollaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logicWrite clean and quality code, build prototypes, solve issues, profile and manage bottlenecksDevelop automated tests to ensure business needs are met and allow for regression testing If you are interested to learn more about our tech stack, check out our profilePreferred experienceDemonstrable object-oriented software design and development experience for distributed infrastructure systems; using one or more of the server-side programming languages, preferably Java & Ruby, Go, Python, etcDemonstrable experience with relational (e.g MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g MongoDB, DynamoDB) databasesExperience with message brokers(e.g RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS)Deep knowledge on Computer Science fundamentals, algorithms and data structuresAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills; written and spokenExperience of working as part of an Agile Software Development teamExperienced in defining solutions and designing containerized applications (Kubernetes) on Cloud (e.g AWS, GCP) and on micro-services architectureWe will be really excited if you also have:
