Project Leader Wide SPUK

As a project leader, you play a crucial role in realizing the Action Plan for Wide SPUK. The ultimate goal is to achieve a healthy generation by 2040. You are organized, able to maintain an overview, and translate this into tangible outcomes.

Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht is a small organization. With over 100 employees, we are constantly dedicated to serving our residents, entrepreneurs, and institutions. You will be working within the Social Domain, under which the Wide SPUK falls. For this assignment, you will collaborate extensively with individuals involved in policy areas such as Sports and Health, Stichting Hi5Ambacht, and other external partners.

Responsibilities

As a project leader, you will oversee the Wide SPUK project team and colleagues involved in implementing the Action Plan for Wide SPUK. The Wide SPUK resources are provided by the government for a 4-year period to achieve a healthy generation by 2040. Municipalities are required to develop activities related to sports, culture, health, and health disparities. Strengthening the social foundation of vulnerable residents is the primary focus.

Key Tasks include:

  • Monitoring progress and reporting to management, council, and supervisors
    • Managing project plans, progress reports, and feedback from colleagues for (final) accountability;
  • Financial management and reporting to management, control, council, and supervisors
    • Developing and monitoring budgets, handling invoices after project team approval;
    • Ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines towards management, council, government, and the ministry (SISA);
  • Scheduling project group meetings, documenting minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a completed HBO (higher vocational education) degree;
  • Knowledge and experience in municipal finances, monitoring municipal financial processes, and translating them into tangible outcomes;
  • Demonstrated interest in administration and administrative processes;
  • Ability to drive initiatives, handle stress, attention to detail, and good interpersonal skills;
  • Willingness to address colleagues about their responsibilities;
  • Working from an integrated approach, being able to adapt quickly to current events;
  • Bi-monthly meetings with project initiators, project leaders, and the sports and prevention coordinator to track project progress;
  • Good insight into political-administrative relationships and associated decision-making processes.
